Village West Marina & Resort, Stockton

3 hrs of freeways with 3-6 lanes each direction. What a mess! 

Finally got here and had our lunch at Garlic Brothers which is across the channel from the campground. We're staying here for a couple of days. 

Next morning we decided to explore downtown.  Strange.  Very few cars or pedestrians.  It felt odd so we decided to get away. This is a nice view of the river when we made a short stop to check out the marina. 

Turns out we were here in April!  Then we decided to check out a campground in the Delta and after driving 20 minutes through horrible roads we were not impressed. 

Back to the campground.
